Version 1.24.0 Released

This update introduces a new endgame challenge built around one simple question:

How far can your party go when there is no break between bosses?

Welcome to the Hall of Legends.

The Hall is a dedicated Boss Rush mode featuring multiple Trials, persistent party health between fights, strategic choices between encounters and its own record system.

This is not meant to replace Campaign progression, Hunts or the Rift.

It is a place to test finished builds.

Enter the Hall of Legends

The Hall currently contains five Trials with a total of 25 boss encounters.

Each Trial consists of five consecutive bosses.

The current Trials are:

  • Campaign Champions — recommended from Level 10+
  • Elite Threats — recommended from Level 50+
  • Secret Horrors — recommended from Level 120+
  • Fracture Legends — recommended from Level 220+
  • The Impossible Trial — recommended from Level 320+

Every boss used by the Hall comes from the actual Knights of Crystalis boss roster.

There are no placeholder encounters or generic fallback enemies hiding behind the Trials.

Five Bosses. One Run.

A Hall Trial is not simply five individual boss buttons.

It is a continuous run.

Your party's health persists between encounters.

Damage taken during Boss 1 therefore matters when you enter Boss 2.

A reckless victory can make the next encounter considerably harder.

A defensive build may lose some speed but arrive at later bosses in much better condition.

The goal is to make consistency matter alongside raw damage output.

Between-Battle Decisions

After defeating a boss, you must choose how your party prepares for the next encounter.

There are three options.

Recover

Restore 32% HP.

Defeated party members return with 35% HP.

This is the safest option when survival is becoming more important than speed.

Momentum

Gain:

  • +6% Attack
  • +3 Speed

Momentum can stack up to three times during the current Trial.

This is the aggressive option for players trying to push faster clears or maintain offensive pressure.

Bastion

Gain:

  • +8% Max HP
  • +5 Damage Reduction

Bastion can also stack up to three times.

This option helps stabilize longer runs and gives defensive builds another way to prepare for increasingly dangerous bosses.

Choosing between recovery and temporary power is a central part of the Hall.

No Energy Cost

Hall of Legends encounters consume no Energy.

The Boss Rush is designed as build-testing and prestige content, so entering the Hall does not compete with normal Campaign or World progression.

However, removing the Energy cost creates an obvious economy problem if every boss simply awards normal loot.

So the Hall uses its own reward structure.

Individual bosses do not grant normal:

  • Gold
  • XP
  • equipment drops
  • standard combat loot

Instead, meaningful economic rewards are tied primarily to the first completion of a Trial.

This prevents the Hall from becoming an infinite farming loop.

First-Clear Rewards

Each Trial provides its main reward on its first successful clear.

Once completed, the Trial remains available for repeat runs, but repeat clears shift the focus toward prestige and optimization.

That means the Hall can be replayed without replacing the rest of the game's reward economy.

Hall Records

Every Trial tracks its own performance records.

The Hall currently records:

  • Best Score
  • Fewest Rounds
  • Best Clear Time

This gives optimized endgame builds something concrete to compete against even after a Trial has already been completed.

One build may produce the fastest run.

Another may clear in fewer rounds.

Another may simply achieve the highest overall performance score.

The Hall is intended to become a long-term testing ground for different equipment and party strategies.

Laurels

The Hall also introduces a new prestige reward:

Laurels

Laurels represent achievement inside the Hall rather than another endlessly farmable source of combat power.

The focus of the system is prestige, records and long-term accomplishment rather than mandatory stat progression.

Hall Titles

Progress inside the Hall can also earn dedicated prestige titles.

Current titles include:

  • Hall Contender
  • Bossbreaker
  • Legend of the Hall

These are intended to make deep Hall progression visible without forcing players into the mode for essential combat power.

Bestiary Integration

Boss Rush victories also contribute to the wider monster ecosystem introduced in Bestiary 2.0.

Defeating creatures inside the Hall can provide relevant Bestiary progress and research evidence.

That means the Hall now interacts directly with Monster Research rather than existing as a completely isolated combat mode.

Adventurer’s Guild Integration

The Adventurer’s Guild has been expanded again.

Version 1.24.0 increases the Contract pool from 14 to 15 templates with the new:

Hall Exhibition

Guild Contracts can now ask players to prove themselves inside the Hall of Legends.

This continues the broader design direction started in recent updates:

New systems should connect to existing progression rather than create completely separate islands of content.

Built for Equipment 1.23.0

Hall of Legends also gives the Equipment Identity changes from version 1.23.0 a much stronger testing environment.

Set Keystones and Legendary Affixes now have a dedicated mode where their strengths and weaknesses can become very obvious.

A build that performs well against a single boss may struggle when forced through five encounters without a full reset.

A defensive Keystone may become more valuable in later Hall stages.

A Legendary Affix that looks weaker in normal Campaign combat may become extremely useful when resource preservation matters.

The Hall gives build experimentation a clear purpose.

Save & Resume Support

Hall progress is stored as part of the existing game state.

A Trial run can preserve its current progress between encounters rather than requiring the entire five-boss sequence to be completed in one uninterrupted session.

Records and first-clear status are also stored independently for each Trial.
