The Tavern Menagerie now includes a fifth workspace for permanent monster Fusion.

Same-species advancement

Two copies of the same species can be combined to advance a developed core monster:

• 3 stars → 4 stars
• 4 stars → 5 stars

The catalyst copy is consumed. Before preparation, the interface shows both parents, the resulting level and Star Grade, the inherited Trait and all Gold, Crystal and Arena Mark costs.

Curated recipe Fusion

• Six fixed recipes create six Fusion-only hybrid species:

• Tempest Fenrir
• Fen Witch + Astral Eye
• Void Oracle
• Coral Knight + Lumen Serpent

• Barrow Duelist + Moonroot Stag
• Duskwood Chimera

Hybrids have their own role, element and base statistics. They cannot be obtained directly from the Hunt Board.

Safe two-step transaction

Fusion uses a prepared operation followed by an explicit completion action.

• The prepared operation persists through save and reload.
• A unique operation ID prevents duplicate application.
• Resources and monsters are consumed only after every requirement is validated again.
• Cancellation consumes nothing.
• Protected monsters are blocked.
• Monsters in Training or an active Monster Arena battle are blocked.
• Consumed monsters are removed safely from saved team presets.

Lineage and catalog

Every completed Fusion records permanent ancestry. The Fusion Catalog tracks discovered recipes, created hybrid copies and bounded Fusion history.
