Version 1.2.0 Released

Explicit weapon families
Every weapon and support item now carries a stable family identifier. Proficiency no longer depends on whether an item happens to contain words such as “bow”, “staff” or “crozier” in its generated name.
Supported families:
Sword · Heavy · Bow · Staff · Scepter · Wand · Codex · Dagger · Spear · Glaive · Gun · Fist · Scythe · Chakram · Shield · Quiver
Historical imported items without explicit family data are repaired through a legacy inference fallback and saved back in the current format.
Job weapon profiles
All 144 Jobs define:
- one or more allowed primary families;
- an optional support family;
- a readable proficiency label.
Examples:
- Ranger, Sniper and other Bow Jobs: Bow + Quiver
- Vanguard, Paladin and other Shield specialists: Sword or Heavy + Shield
- Mender, Priest and Cantor: Staff or Scepter
- Arcanist and other full casters: Staff, Wand, Scepter or Codex
- Lancer and Dragoon: Spear or Glaive
- Blade Dancer: Sword or Chakram
- Automancer: Gun or Wand
Proficiency calculation
A matching primary weapon grants:
- +12% Attack
- proportional Skill Damage shown in the Gear interface
A compatible equipped support item grants another +8%. Therefore:
- Bow + Quiver: 20% total proficiency
- matching weapon + Shield: 20% total proficiency
A Quiver cannot be equipped by a non-Bow Job, and a Shield cannot be equipped by a Job without Shield support. This prevents support slots from becoming universal stat positions.
Equipment positions
Every Job profile now contains eleven persistent positions:
Weapon · Shield · Quiver · Helm · Armor · Gloves · Boots · Belt · Ring · Amulet · Relic
Shield and Quiver remain mutually role-gated. The presence of both positions in save data does not mean every Job can use both.
Gear Sets
Gear Sets store all eleven positions. Applying a set:
- equips valid compatible items;
- skips missing items;
- skips account-level-locked items;
- skips incompatible Shield or Quiver entries;
- never moves an item into the wrong support slot.
New Unique build anchors
The 24 Arsenal Uniques cover boss hunting, speed, control, sustain, resistances, barriers, critical builds and element-specialized loadouts. Their effects use the established stat engine and do not introduce hidden unsupported proc rules.
